Individual conditions

• You must be 16 years and over to use this site.
• You are responsible for keeping your login details and password secure.
• As event organiser, you are totally responsible for any activity. Any use of site which may be considered illegal, immoral, threatening, libellous, defamatory, offensive to others that may violate other users or these terms and conditions, the user will be reported to necessary agencies; the account will be cancelled and any fees paid will be refunded.
• You agree to pay the fee of £1.25 per person per event to MatePay as your first payment from monies collected from guests.
• You must not transmit any viruses, worms or any other illegal file or media output which may risk the security or health of any other party's hardware.
• You must not carry out illegal file-sharing. Any illegal activity will result in the user being removed from MatePay and appropriate agencies informed.

General conditions

• We reserve the right to modify, update, close or cease the MatePay service at any time. Where necessary and if appropriate, your deposit will be refunded in full at our absolute discretion.
• We reserve the right to alter these terms and conditions at any time.
• We reserve the right to reclaim usernames on behalf of businesses or individuals that hold legal claim or trademark on those usernames.
• The MatePay service makes it possible to post imported images and text within your event homepage. MatePay assume that all imported images and text used on MatePay has the owner's full approval and MatePay will not be held responsible for the use of unlicensed distribution of material already under copyright or ownership.
• We reserve the right, in accordance with any applicable laws, to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

Violation of any of these terms and conditions will result in the termination of your MatePay account. You understand and agree that MatePay cannot be responsible for the Content posted on your event page and you nonetheless may be exposed to such materials and that you use the MatePay service at your own risk.
